Other information This magnificent little beauty was designed and bodied by Jean Daninos of Facel Métallon, who launched his luxurious Facel-Véga cousin in 1956. Only 300 examples were produced over a two-year period.
It bears a striking resemblance to the Facel Véga, with the same classy bodywork and superb finish visible throughout the cabin, the surprisingly roomy trunk or the hood. No gluttonous American V8 here, just the latest version of the Simca engine, a brilliant little 1300cc 4 pot with a pleasant sound, born East of the Alps and kicked up to 57hp for the occasion.
Sat behind its handsome steering wheel, you will rediscover the joys of spirited driving within the bounds of the speed limits... in a nutshell the pleasure doesn't always lie in the numbers...
This car was delivered new to the USA, and its odometer is in miles. It returned to Europe a few years ago, where it underwent a meticulous restoration.
